Kiteboarding at the Anino Kite Resort

Cuyo Island and the north of Luzon have the strongest wind in the Philippines! The beach of the Anino Kite Resort is more than 400 meters long and is just perfect for kiting! The wind blows on shore slightly from the left, permitting long rides inside the lagoon or going over the reef into the waves. Beginners and advanced kiters find ideal conditions to practice in chest deep crystal clear water. We have an out-rigger boat ready to rescue kiters. Beginners and advanced kiters love this uncrowded wide open lagoon. Our guests are permitted to give kiteboarding lessons to friends. Another great kite spot with shallow and deep water is at Capusan in Cuyo town.

Kiteboarding Courses in Uncrowded Paradise

Kitesurfing is an easy sport to learn. You only need a few days of lessons to be able to ride. Our team consists of qualified and professional Filipino and Foreign kite instructors. We provide basic kiteboarding / kitesurfing lessons by experienced teacher. You will learn basics of kite safety, kite set-up, flying and controlling kite, body drag and board riding. Basic kitesurfing theory / Equipment set-up / Safety system explanation / Kite launching & relaunching in shallow water / First steering and kite control / All around body drag & re-launch Theory / Kite water re-launch / Body-drag down wind (with 2 hands) / Body-drag up wind (with 1 hand) / Riding and Right of way theory / Riding with control / Riding in both direction / Theory to keep the height / Basic jibe - changing direction / Board recovering in deep water. Boat Trips / Island Hopping

Depending wave conditions we provide trips to other islands with our own comfortable out-rigger boat for up to four passengers. Snorkeling excursions 2500 PHP plus cost of petrol (about 200 PHP).
